Democrat Kay Hagan is out with an ad hitting back at incumbent Sen. Elizabeth Dole (R-N.C.) for a controversial TV spot that sought to link Hagan to an atheist group. Dole's ad quickly caused a stir in the liberal blogosphere yesterday. It alleged that Hagan had taken "godless money" from the atheist political organization Godless America

Kay Hagan, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate from North Carolina, has recently pulled ahead of Senator Liddy Dole in the polls.
