Autumn has these "story blocks"- rectangular woodblocks, painted in pastels, and with various phrases and pictures painted on them. Autumn was picking up blocks at random and making a line of them. I happened to rglance at it left-to-right, and they read:"picking daffodils", "on a grassy hill", "in Paris", "against the wind"...not just a linear narrative, but a haiku to boot.
