  Funny and insightful, if you are an adoptee, possibly disturbing, and hitting too close to home if you are an adoptive parent, According To Addie offers an unique glimpse into the mind of an adult adoptee.

  Although an eloquent writer, Ms. Addie appears to seek to inflict the same heartache that she has apparently experienced on everyone who reads her blog. As a biological mother of four adult children, and now the mother of two beautiful daughters adopted from China (and yes, Ms. Addie, they were in fact orphans as determined by the Chinese government) - I know that biology guarantees nothing. All four of my biological children are individuals, some of them happily adjusting to life and others angry at the world . . . what's their excuse? Ms. Addie's self-proclaimed message as an "angry, mean, adoptee" is spoken with passion (not compassion) and yet the anger that is expressed here,is not only hurtful to others who are doing what they feel is right for them (and, yes, for their children,
