This is my life and my passion, sketching the human figure and face. I use the train, bus, and tube nearly everyday of my life and I meet different people from different places. I sketch them, we discuss, and talk. Sometimes I finish, sometimes I don't.

I follow Adebanji Alade's blog every day to see what he's done lately. Adebanji's love for people shows in every drawing. Through his descriptions I feel like I've accompanied him on every sketching trip. I wish I lived in London so that I could see him on the tube one day and he would turn to me and ask me to snap a photo of him working. - M. Ginsberg
I'm very taken with Adebanji Alade's blog - which demonstrates the value of drawing from life whenever it's possible. He draws people all the time - and it has a pay off. His painting was shown in the annual exhibition of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters last year.
