Gary Lopez is a 76 year old retired garbage man who sits on his couch in his ramshackle cottage and opines about assorted happenings in the town of Barnstable, Massachusetts. Lopez lives in such deplorable conditions that you need to step over piles of newspapers, trash and an old pit bull just to get to the couch, where you'll have to move more piles of garbage just to sit down. The problem with Lopez is that he was once a fairly effective activist, but now he's just a pissy old man who can't walk, & just writes about stuff that makes him angry, which is basically everything. The other problem is that half the statements he makes are simply not true, & fairly easy to disprove. This is the reason he closed his comments last year - he doesn't like being confused with the facts!!
