Confessions of a Contemplative New Yorker

I am very opinionated, educated, a little edgy, and artistic. I live in the most fabulous city in the world, which is also the cause of much happiness and much aggravation. I am a New Yorker. Welcome to my island.

I have been following this writer since she first started writing. She manages to find humor in the very things that drive the rest of us mad. Hopefully she will gain a large enough following that the companies and practices that push all of us over the edge, will have to deal with her.

What a pleasure to find a gem of a blog today! This girl is living my life; well the life I want to live. Well, for the most part anyway. I loved reading her short bio on the sidebar. Her last line where she describes herself as a walking contradictory, I have spoken those very same words about myself. The blog design is clever and pleasing to the eye. And while the Contemplative New Yorker leans to the left politically I don't find the blog offensive at all, seeing as how I lean right. So, I have added her to the blogroll and look forward to reading her on a daily basis. I highly recommend this blog for entertainment and enlightenment.
