At dinner some friends mentioned that they were trying to decide where to buy the cupcakes for their wedding. I surprised myself and others at the table by offering to make them all. My friends surprised me by accepting.

Don't forget the cupcakes when you head out to see July 4th fireworks. Cupcakes are cheaper than the snacks you'll find at whatever festival you are going to, and the cupcakes enjoy watching the show! Eat them when the fireworks are over. Orange buttercream frosting is sweet and tangy. I love how the little orange bits look in the frosting swirl. Orange buttercream frosting would be a great way to fancy up a plain vanilla cupcake. I decided on a honey frosting for upcoming cupcakes when I received honey in my CSA package last week. I had made a honey frosting before.
