Great album reviews. They are highly opinionated without being just negative which is how most blogs go. Also, they go to a ton of shows and post great pictures of bands/performances.
Their band interviews are always fun and a good time with interesting people. News updates are good and fun and in addition to covering what everyone else is talking about, there's often a lot of random observations about things which is refreshing.
I could be biased though.
good coverage of lots of current bands. i'm so sick of pitchfork that i want to barf, so having an alternative that isn't as pretentious with a broader focus is sooo much needed.
