This blog is down to the dirt, detailed, and fun. Rhonda's experiences and insights are spot on for anyone looking to simplify life and gat back to the basics. Thanks for your blog.
An absolutely wonderful blog written with a warm, motherly voice. Rhonda Jean lets us into her kitchen, her garden, and her lifestyle, so that we can slowly make sustainable changes to our own lives.
Probably the most thoughtful, well-written and timely information I have come across. Rhonda is a very generous, intelligent woman who is able to express herself beautifully. I don't miss a day. The information is so very helpful and organized. Marvelous!
Hi there,
As a pensioner (and an old hippy...back when I had hair that is..lol)I am currently setting up my own property in an effort to become self sufficient. I don't think, that any one can become truely self sufficient but I do think that you can become close to it and swapping produce and recycling is a great place to start. Currently I have vegie gardens set up and am working on more along with building a chook pen.
Like you I try, where possible, to pass on what I have learnt over the years to those who wish to learn.
Even though I live on the south coast of NSW, I was led to your blog by a friend in the USA. Just shows that we are led to those things that really matter by various routes. All we have to do is grasp what is placed in front of us.
Thank you once again.
