Whenever I read DBAH I have to remind myself that the author is only a teenager. I find it hard to believe, when her writing is so mature and articulate. Often deliberately confusing in style, her posts are full of twists of the tongue, amusing anecdotes and vivid mental imagery. Unique!
Suzys way with words, especially accents never fails to amuse me. It is so easy to forget that Suzy is only fifteen, but thats because the posts are so well formed.
