Well, its not quite raining men since its the same model Johnathan from Thursday's POTD but two nude dude paintings from life in three days...that's a bit much. I gotta paint a nekked chick tonight or tomorrow just to bring balance back to the force....

I saw a REALLY good movie last night. Its called the Pledge directed by Sean Penn starring Jack Nicholson. I regret not knowing about this film until a few weeks ago when some PBS radio critic was talking about great movies that get over looked for...

Yesterdays POTD was from life. I think its my 1st nude dude painting from life. It turned out alright but I prefer painting nekked ladies for obvious reasons. Work time was 3 hours with breaks every 20 minutes for the model.

The Frazetta studies were getting old so last night's POTD reference was of a suicide girl. Work time a little over 3.5 hours.

If I ever became rich one of the first things I'd buy would be a few Glenn Barr paintings. I really dig his work and yesterday I "attempted" to imitate him in the POTD. It was small, quick and horrible. "That's what she said!"...
