It’s been a year (and a day) since I sat outside of a Paciugo Gelato in the Houston suburbs, furiously texting with my husband. I was there to celebrate a (McCain-voting) friend’s birthday, so she would have been within her rights to be annoyed as I...

What an intriguing site. The thought of a feminist mormon initially strikes me as an oxymoron.Clearly I have been influenced by a media that looks upon mormons as somewhat sinister.Obviously your site is not aimed at us chaps, but having said that how can we possibly learn about Mormon Feminism unless we look?I will follow you with interest. I love this blog. I'm a Mormon convert, and I have pretty much no friends in the church. The friends I do have are males on their mission. Also, being raised outside of the church, I've been brought up to be a strong female, and my mom would never forgive me if I became the stereotypical Mormon housewife. Reading this blog makes me feel like I have a group of friends or at least confidants that I could go to with questions about issues that the church doesn't really have direct answers for. And that's very helpful in this day and age.
