Dealing with Adversity and Coming Out with a Better Attitude. A.K.A. I Shook the Shanks

May 26, 2009
I got the shanks about five years ago. It was strange and very disturbing that I couldn’t simply make and adjustment and get rid of them. Never happened before. I went to the range for...

The Byron Preview, Part 3 - The Location

May 21, 2009
For most major golf tournaments, the period immediately after the tournament is spent de-briefing, discussing what worked and what didn’t work, and then laying pretty low for several months...

Gatorade Tiger lacks in the flavor department

Aug 21, 2008
It is around 100 degrees here. When it gets that hot I can’t just drink water on the course. If I only drink water I end up with what the Greeks call “evil eye.” Evil eye is a mind splitting headache centered in my right eyeball.

Frogger Amphibian Ball Towel

Nov 30, 1999
I’ve been pals with Frogger Golf for several years now. When Frogger releases a product you can be sure there will be nothing better on the market. Back in May of 2007 I reviewed the hands-down best golf brush on our planet and many others, the...

Very exicted for golf tomorrow

Nov 27, 2009
There’s a special foursome which used to play ALL the time.  I’m talking a minimum of 2x per week and more on holiday weeks.  That foursome’s highest handicap is a 4.   We have millions of bets and tons of fun pitting our different strengths...

Happy Thanksgiving

Nov 26, 2009
To all my golf friends in the USA I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.  To my golf friends outside of the USA, cheers.

Sumi-G Stymie Belts

Nov 25, 2009
Today I’m reviewing the SUMI-G Stymie Golf Belt.  Part of the “Tee Collection,” this is one of two different styles of belts offered by my very good friends at SUMI-G. Buckle And Magnetic Ball Marker I like shiny stuff.  The two piece hinged...

USB golf ball may be the perfect golf gift for the golfer who has everything

Nov 24, 2009
I have everything.  I’m a golfer.  That makes me “the golfer who has everything.”  But wait a sec.  I don’t have everything.  I just found the 1GB Golf ball USB Drive. Pretty silly really.  If that doesn’t do the trick there’s always...

SKLZ Refiner Driver – hinged training club

Nov 22, 2009
Remember the Medicus from years ago?  The SKLZ Refiner series are clubs with a similar concept.   The Refiner Driver is a hinged training driver which shows breakdowns in your swing. Two huge factors in the golf swing are tempo and swing...

Now here is one of the many golf sites that has over done it on content on the front page. Way too much information to digest and that is before you go inside the site to look around. There is some real good content in this site, but most people will click off this monster before they see it. The site is need of a Major design overhaul. Look forward to seeing what Tony does with the site in the future.
