As other reviewers have pointed out, this is a perfect example of when a blogger gets too close to the party he supports. Most of the stuff he writes is either a rehash from ConservativeHome, or info he has been given b y Tory HQ. Why do you need to know what the monkey writes, when you can go to the Tory HQ site and read the writings of the grinder.
Poor effort really, he seems too close to the party he supports. In fact many of his posts look like they have been taken straight from the party website. I have only marked him up so much for his dedication to blogging frequently, even though what he blogs seems to be someone elses work.
Not really a personal blog but a back up to the Official Conservative Party of the UK. Many of the posts are just a re-hash of what you can read at the official pary website or the partys other site Con Home. Seems to revel in the fact he is the lefts main blogging hate figure, which is hard to understand as most of his posts are very un original...must be a British thing?
God help the right of the UK if this is supposed to be one of their best blogs. This what happens when the blogger gets too close to the party he supports. If you want to read party propoganda, go to The Britsh Conservative Party website and cut out the middle man.
Just another Conservative Party mouthpiece in the UK. Many like him who toe the party line and do the dirty work on the other parties for the Conservatives.
I also think he is in love with the current Conservative Party leader.
There was a time when this blog and blogger used to be worth a read, wether you agreed with his politics or not.
Now a days he is just a mouthpiece for the Conservative Party and more recently the coalition. As other reviewers have said, you might as well cut out the middle man and go straight to the Conservative Party website as they both sing from the same hymn sheet.
Such a shame as it used to be good, now it is just a mundane, repetative, political propaganda machine eminating from the Conservative Party.
There's a reason why 'Iain Dale's Diary' is recognised as Britain's number 1 political blog. There's plenty of content here for your hardened politico and casual observer, plus the 'Daley Dozen' feature is a great way to see what's making the gossip on the political blogosphere in general. An excellent blog with both humour and serious commentary in abundance.
