Weekend Download: Soooo Close Edition

Jul 5, 2009
Our goal is to bring you only the games that are worth playing, meaning most of these titles are left in the forgotten realm of Didn't Quite Make It land. This is especially true with downloadable games, as it's a bit more of a commitment to buy a game...

MoneySeize

Jul 5, 2009
Cheerio, my good man, pip pip! The name is Sir Reginald MoneySeize II, Esq. I'm out to construct the world's largest tower, and I'll need 1020 golden coins to do it. Are you up to the platform-jumping challenge, my well-buttered scone? I sincerely hope...

Deadly Sin

Jul 4, 2009
Deadly Sin doesn't try to reinvent the role playing game. Instead, it chooses the path of flattering imitation. With great art direction, a superb soundtrack, a deep skill tree to explore and, most notably, the ability to turn off random battles,...

Weekend Download

Jul 4, 2009
Painfully difficult retro gaming time!!! Three platform games on this edition of Weekend Download, each one doing its part to remind you just how bad you are at playing games. Until you play the same part a dozen times, then you're awesomely talented!

Kuros

Jay Is Games does an outstanding job of presenting their audience with intelligent and articulate game reviews. They also offer insight into how to get the most out of your gameplay experience. The icing on the cake is the user comments section for each game, where visitors can leave feedback, hints, recommendations, or just share some camaraderie with the Jay Is Games international community. Visit it once and I'm pretty sure you'll be back for more... and more... and more :-) - Zeke

I've been reading Jay is Games for years now, and it's one of the sites I'll always go to looking for good reviews of new games, and often, games I'd never have found anywhere else. Their reviews are intelligent, informative, and insightful, and the comments on each entry, which they read and reply to frequently, are often just as good. They've got a large community of followers, and a smaller community of developers, many of whom they have good personal relationships with, and I'm glad to be one of them. 10/10
