With 96 days to go and after a weekend of putting together invites and adding more stamps due to weight (opps!!) I finally sent the invites off in the mail. It feels so good to get this bif job out of the way. I just have to send out the invites to our American friends. I finally started the chuppah today. I was going to paint on silk but decided not to because crochet is more me. So I'm going to crochet a 5 x 5 foot square using crochet cotton in a v-stitch. The first few rows are going good except my foundation row is tight, I don't want to start over so I might just disguise it by crocheting an edging around it when it's finished. After taking the 'Sewing with Bridal Lace' class at the creativ festival this past weekend I'm happy to say I'm not afraid of working with lace anymore.It's not as scary as some may think and I'm ready to start making my dress now.I can't post pictures because don't want my fiancee to see it but I will after the big day....
