The Making a Mark blog contains a wealth of information for artists. You can find information on a diverse range of subjects, from art materials to individual artists, exhibitions to instruction, and much more. If you are only going to visit one art blog, then my recommendation is to make it this one.

As an art student, learning on my own, Katherine Tyrrell's blog, Making a Mark, has become one of my favorite sites. With a wealth of information and numerous links for further reading, she presents well-balanced discussions on many subjects related to art, art materials and artists. Readers should also check out her companion blog, Travels with a Sketchbook. A must see in my opinion.
