superb

Vince and Axl are creative heavy metal journalists. They report on a diverse cross section of the Heavy Metal genre. They are both smart and whitty (they'll be the first to tell you they're in the upper 1% iq ranking), and occassionally come across as total dicks. But, they run an open forum that welcomes opposing views. They do not claim their opinion is metal marshall law. Currently, Metalsucks.net is my source for metal news and updates. Their content is far superior to other outlets such as Revolver, Metal Sludge, and Blabber Mouth.

MetalSucks is the absolute best metal blog, bar none. Their posts are insightful, funny and well-written, second to none in terms of metal writing on the Internet. MetalSucks is where I go to get my news every day.

Vinnie and Axl are sarcastic, sardonic, sour, negative, mean-spirited, close-minded metal music reviewers and commentators. Their site, Metalsucks.net, is ironically named on purpose and its main goal is to bring metal (and some hard rock) news to those of us who care. In other words, it's pretty damn awesome. Those of us who often disagree with their opinions or the opinions of the regular blog commentors there are actually welcomed with open arms. The debates are almost always filled with intelligent arguments and not the usual, sophomoric and idiotic ramblings of braindead teenagers who wouldn't know how to form a sentence, let alone draft an opinion. 9 stars.

This is sort of like The Daily Show of metal. Biased and humorous metal news coming from Jews. But seriously, this is a great site. Vince and Axl's writing style has me coming back every day. They even have contests and give away stuff to their readers all the time. I give MetalSucks a 10 because I just don't see how a blog about metal can be done better than this.

everyone who has reviewed this site so far has ONLY reviewed this one. hmmm. suspicious. not to mention they all read the same . . . hmmm . . . interesting. This blog is ok. Nothing great. I don't like the name - that is for ska bands the trendy 'sucks' at the end - but for metal? Overall not bad. Too much repetative content from the same people in bands writing the same boring 'road stories' for my taste.

Once metal sludge stopped doing anything we were in need of a great news site that didn't take itself too seriously (we're looking at you blabbermouth). This site has up to the minute news on the world of metal and hard music. it'll make you smart and laugh. Steal their jokes and use them on your friends and soon you'll be the popular funny guy.
