Last Friday's arrival of the birth pool wasn't quite what I had hoped. Not off the hook after all for the home water birth. Not just yet, anyway. Structural engineer got back in touch to veto bedroom for the birth pool. Bad news, I'm afraid. Looks like home birth could be in jeopardy.
