I was intrigued by other comments on your blog. I thought I would just preview a few lines. The flow of your stories is lucid. I feel as if I stand still long enough, I can catch a breeze from some southern tree (if there is any such thing). The pictures and the music tie everything together. I especially enjoy how your words are simple and plain, however they paint a masterpiece. Thank you for encouraging a future author and giving this 40 year-old African-American woman a glimpse into your beautiful history.
Exceptionally well written blog, where the writer paints vivid pictures of her youth. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys reading heartwarming--and sometimes heartbreaking--stories of youth in 1950's and 60's America.
