The content, by far the most important aspect of any blog, is excellent. It's upgraded with ca. 8 articles daily on average and is easily the best news blog for the Toon Army.
Although by no means catastrophic, the layout could be improved.
1) There is far too much white space for my likings.
2) It has a tendency to get a little clogged. Some of the content of the right columns should probably on a separate page altogether and some of it should be there only for a short period of time while it's is breaking news or is quite fresh.
3) The articles are of much the same length although some could be a little shorter and more concise.
4) I don't like the font of the main text and the headers are a little exaggerated.
5) Handling of images is a little monotonous.
excellent, brings news and views from geordies all over the world! Im in the middle east (Dubai)& i keep upto date on my beloved newcastle United via this web page! keep up the good work Ed!
As an American who only started following English Football this past fall, this is the best blog I have found and is a large part of the reason I support Newcastle, though I don't get to watch many games. It does not have the braggodacio of some of the "big 4" blogs, and I like that.
Also, there is a constant stream of good reporting to be had here, which remains balanced even though the the writer is a Newcastle Stalwart. Thanks Ed, for bringing me to Newcastle Football.
Brilliant site just what i need as a Newcastle Supporter to get me through the day.... it has everything a fan needs to know about the team and events occurring in and around Newcastle United
