to make this place a home

A journey, a path
walking to heaven
the way of holiness
that we travel on
this life here on earth
Following the shepherd’s call
the word of God
speaking from within
his voice guiding our way...
God is love,
so the scripture attests
all of God, triune
God showed love
sending a son
mortal yet divine
Love walking the ways of earth
a life like yours and mine
Love dying, on the cross
a sacrifice ...
The cross, the grave
could not hold love
Love reborn on the third day
walking again on this earth
our lives at that moment
saved!
