I did not take the full time to read all of this blog because the statement that gas helicopters are more expensive stopped me in my tracks! The comparison between gas and electrics are about the same. You will pay more for fuel with nitro but the cost of a good battery for an electric is well over $100.00 dollars. you also run the risk of damage being done to the battery during charge cycles and maybe even damage during a crash which none of theses things apply to a nitro machine... the battery to operate the servos in a nitro machine is not as much as the battery for the electrics. Other than that I feel that the blog has some good points to it. This is a hobby that is starting to grow and I feel we should provide as much accurate information as possible to those who may become intereste
