Remains of The Day

This blog originated as a reaction to certain mommy blogs that make motherhood and domesticity appear relentlessly lovely, joyful and perfect, without acknowledging that it is usually messy, sometimes miserable, and always imperfect. I began to find, as I stopped to photograph normally unpleasant chores, that these daily tasks took on meaning, that there is sacred in the mundane.
