Are robins a sign of spring?

Feb 9, 2010
Yesterday it was snowy. I looked up in a tree and here’s what I saw: American Robin in Winter Yes, right there before my eyes was a robin.  In winter.  In the snow. So I guess that must mean spring is coming, right?  Cause after all, robins...

Snowy In The South

Feb 8, 2010
So now instead of rain, we have snow. It was coming down pretty heavy for a little while. Big fat flakes blowing in the the wind. The cardinals don’t seem to mind. I can’t resist taking pictures of them because their bright red color looks so pretty...

Soggy in the South

Feb 5, 2010

superb
This blog is awesome. Photos are great. Text is informative and witty. Personally, I think the goats need to go and you have the strangest looking rooster I've ever seen. Keep up the good work maintaining your little piece of heaven on earth and giving homes to all your critters who give back in such varied ways.
