excellent
Dean writes very informative articles about the bands and musicians that make up Richmond's jazz scene, and keeps a very thorough schedule of all jazz-related gigs and events. Richmond Jazz is more vibrant because of this blog, the insider's look it provides, and the audience it brings to shows that might otherwise slip under the radar.
