Thanks to everyone that showed up at Gallery 4 for the latest Opening Night Reception of my work this year. It was a hot and steamy evening, and that just made the very cold adult beverages taste all the better.I'd also like to thank the owner of Gallery 4, Klia Ververidis Xanthopoulos, for having me and my work in her gallery. This show will run through July 31st, so if you have a chance to make i...
You want to be a photographer? Pay attention.....1. Be passionate or get rid of your camera. You can't do this (or anything else usually) half hearted. You have to love what you are doing because it isn't easy. There will be plenty of times when you will want to take up plumbing because you see some weird stuff out there. If you are passionate about photography, it won't matter what anyone else is...

I look forward to Scott's blogs, everytime I see a new one posted, I get excited, knowing I am going to gain some new knowledge to help me become a better photographer.
The content of his blogs are a necessity for ANY budding photographer, a MUST read, easy to understand, and full of need-to-know info.
The photo examples his uses of his own work to illustrate the lessons are beyond incredible on their own, but for the sake of the lesson, absolute perfection in relation to the message of ht blog.
Great work Scott, can't wait to see more!!

Your blogs are wonderfully informative to the amateur up to the most famous photographers. I love how you are always sharing "secrets" and giving very informative advice and tips. Your latest blog hits right up my ally. NO more will I say, "This is good enough." I often find myself frustrated with the "good enough" picture once I get home and I know this is why. From now on, I will delete it and take until it's 'perfect!'
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and expertise. I am a big fan of yours and look forward to the next blog entry!
Awesome introspective Scott. Thank you for the helpful tutorials and for explaining the different techniques you use yourself when taking a photo that is special to you. I had a bad habit of taking the shot, then going home and cropping in what I want. I miss the angle when I do that. I do have to slow it down a bit and think of what it is I am trying to achieve. The steps you take, and share with us, are very helpful to me.
Love your work and found your blog to be an interesting, informative and enjoyable read that was written well. Thank you!
