Ken Griffey Jr Resigns With Seattle

Nov 19, 2009
Glad to see Junior back with the M’s for another season. His return is a bit of a surprise to me, although I’m not sure it’s the right move, either. Considering that in 117 games last season his average dipped to .214, well below his career average...

Zack Greinke Wins AL Cy Young Award

Nov 17, 2009
The baseball writers got this one right. Zack Greinke is most deserving of the AL Cy Young Award. He dominated opposing teams, and that was clearly evident beyond his numbers too. Statistics, remember, only provide a general picture, not the entire...

Brian has an unwavering passion for Major League Baseball and it comes through in his blogs--which are just long enough to grab your attention and keep you interested, but not too long to run you off. When it comes to excellent coverage of Cubs baseball with a twist of humor, Brian Corbin hits a grand slam!
