Nov 3, 2009
Replacing swear words in a news story with a string of asterisks may protect the sensibilities of easily offended readers but it doesn't always aid understanding. For example, Metro's front page lead today begins: British National Party leader Nick...

superb
Whenever I take my daily spin through the grammar blogosphere, I always make a point to spend some time at "The Engine Room." There's always something new to see, the commentary is lively, and I get to learn a lot about how English is used across the pond. Highly recommended.
