The primary goal of the Constitution is to enumerate the very limited and specific powers of the Federal government and place restrictions on what the federal government can do to states and individuals. This blog, and the Libertarian Party, reinforce that goal. Libertarians share a conservative goal of small government and many are social conservatives as well; they just do not want social conservatism at the point of a gun.
