Oscar invents grouch computer ('Sesame Street' Wednesday)

Nov 4, 2009
As 'Sesame Street' celebrates its 40th anniversary, I've noticed that Google has included Big Bird's legs in its logo the past couple days. But nobody can beat the ol' Osk! Why, back in 1984, Oscar the Grouch invented a grouch computer. It was a...

Right-wing school board member loses reelection bid

Nov 4, 2009
Meet Jennifer Miller, a member of the Mason, Ohio, school board. I profiled Miller before because (among other things) she demanded that creationism be taught in public schools. She also threw a big shitfit during a school board meeting. Later,...

excellent
The Online Lunchpail is a breath of fresh air. Tim has an intelligent and informed way of describing current events and public policy that differs greatly from the "Stepford" news we get elsewhere. In Seattle, earlier this week, our local Fox affiliate actually called themselves the "Stepford" news. At least there is truth in reporting once in a while. Thank you, Tim for exposing corruption and fighting the good fight. Keep it up!

superb
Dunno why everyone is hating on this blog, which is one of the better political blogs around. This (not that awful "Power Line") should have been "blog of the year".
