question about miscarriages and getting the news

Oct 28, 2009
An acquaintance of mine is a doctor, she recently had to tell a woman that she’d had a miscarriage. She wrote: “I don’t think I did a great job of it and I want to do it better next time. If anyone’s been on the receiving end of this kind of news, what...

the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physics

In honor of today’s announcement of the Nobel Prize for Physics, which went to Charles Kao for his work with fiber optics, and Willard Boyle and George Smith for their invention of the CCD technology (the technology that makes digital cameras work), I...

the penguin and the butterfly

great
I have been a reader of this emerging blog for some time now and I enjoy visiting it and seeing what the latest post may be about as the variety of topics covered is very broad. The posts contain musings of a wife, mother, librarian and a gentle spirit whose personality shines through the writing. I particularly enjoy the photographs that gives us readers a bird's eye view of the times and travails of this young family. The theme chosen for this blog is appropriate to the eclectic content. The blog is well organized, accessible, easily navigated and the sidebar is clutter free. I like what I see and what I see is a great deal of potential for growth.
