Why i trust most the poets you find on my blog roll (and other wildly unpopular fantasies) A poem by Justin Evans

Dec 7, 2009
They may not like my poems like I want them to like my poems, but they all like poetry and they all read poetry and they all talk in little poems and at night what hovers over their heads is poetry and they all have at least one poet they can't live...

Just a few things

Dec 6, 2009
So I just got a rejection in the mail for an anthology I submitted to some six months ago. It's a weird feeling to get a rejection from a place I had forgotten that I had even submitted to in the first place. I made the first round of reading but...

I struggle

Dec 1, 2009
with the calm assuredness most poets carry with them every where they go. The great poets we read decades later have it in every poem great or small. It's that confidence I need to learn. When I look at any of my poems I don't see the poem. I can't...

A kick in the teeth

very good
Loved your surprisingly honest and brutal critique about the US. Didnt think people really realised it themselves. There still is hope for the world. Oh, and you have a great taste in music and I think you should talk more about things that get other people into discussions also. Got wit and sarcasm, lovely.

excellent
This blog is exceptional, the humour in it is good. The content is always useful and it helps me with some of my own work. Great writing advice for anyone. The only thing is teh background is a bit dark and sometimes is hard to read without good lighting. Otherwise no complaints.
