Something good about Palin and the Tea Party Folks

Feb 7, 2010
I’m going to let all the things I could say about Palin’s speech pass today, and let FactCheck.org (and Media Matters and The Progress Report) point out lies and distortions, of which there were many. There was a whole bunch of snideness, and even more...

Person or Not a Person?

Feb 7, 2010
An American Category Sketch of Personhood vs. Non-Personhood – not exhaustive, but representative. So much is under debate. So much is culturally modulated. So much has a history of discussion rather than a solid truth claim. So much seems a little...

Rewriting the JW Implanted Belief List

Jan 10, 2010
As a therapeutic exercise, I attempted to rewrite the list of possible EX-JW Dysfunctional Beliefs from Mindful Construct in terms of my own perspective. I meant this to be simple, but it didn’t work out that way. Some of it is rewritten, some of it is...

Sites for Recovering Jehovah’s Witnesses to Explore Scroll to the bottom if you’re not in the mood for this! Over the years, I’ve noted that the quality and helpfulness of former JW sites varies quite a bit. Some are very angry, while others are more...

I appreciate that Heidi had an apparent bad experience with the Jehovah's Witnesses. The sad thing is that all human beings on earth are products of imperfection and that is why Jehovah's Witnesses and a majority of humanity congregate in an attempt to find out what God really wants for us and from us. The virushead.com site, although eloquent, shows only that she ("Dr. Heidi") can seek out the bad in any targetted group but does not assist the reader in any other "truth" other than the "don't listen to them" mentality. I am a Jehovah's Witness, I have seen human imperfection exhibited within the organization but not to the same extent as any other group/religion/organization/race when singled out and analyzed individually for their merits and/or failures.
