Had a nice relaxing afternoon, that is when I finally retrieved my tackle box. I got to the lake where I wanted to fish. Opened the trunk and realized that I left the fishing gear at home. Thankfully it's not too far from where I live. So when I was actually able to throw in my line I was rewarded with this nice catch. I'll have the peanut oil a' boiling tonight for this one. MMMMMMMMM!...

I just happened to check my profile here and lo and behold it said I'd been here since July '04. Wow! I had completely forgotten exactly how long it had been. I'll have more thoughts on this later along with some nice memories of some fun times in Chicago....

Spent the weekend in the big city with 3 other bloggers; Trueself, Drama, and Fusion . It was a time good for body and soul. Lots of laughing, sharing, and getting to know each other. I found out that Fusion and I had a lot to talk about. Omg did we ever. ;-)...

This place seems to be just what I needed. Far enough away from the ex (who should soon be the ex legally) that it allows us to build separate lives, yet close enough that if my kids want to visit meeting even halfway isn't a bad drive.
