More from Author: Started knitting twenty years ago. Stopped after making a few scarves. Like many other girls, too busy going to college and thought not cool to do things that associated with domesticity. Done some Gender Studies in college, I believe that real Women Movement is about women having their choices, including being their feminine selves. After haven’t been knitting one single thing for 10 years, knitted a scarf last year for Christmas, got hooked again, and can’t seem to stop the creativity hidden inside me. Born in Hong Kong, recently move to Dublin from Paris with the Canadian man and the cat, trying to explore the country and got as much real Irish yarn as I can before leaving for Montreal in a few years time. Apart from working in the office every day, I try to knit as much as I can while doing a course in animal behaviour. Hopefully I can be a Cat Behaviourist one day, while keeping my day time cover – an office lady. (Ravelry ID: alicecat)

Stitch and Bitch Tallinn

There is no official Stitch and Bitch in Tallinn, but through Ravelry, we managed to meet up with some Estonian knitters. There were also some German knitters (Susann and Petra, hello!) who happened to be in town as well. So we all got together in...

Yarncat Fiber Trip 2009(1) - LYS in Tallinn, Estonia

Nov 20, 2009
So I arrived in Tallinn, Estonia. Growing up in the 80s, I spent my childhood watching Estonian rally to fight for their independance on the TV. Little Yarncat thought, 'this place seems to be so cold and so much chaos, I will NEVER go to places like...

Knitting and Stitching Show Dublin 2009

Nov 19, 2009
Since I started my own cat care business, I am very well aware of the fact that holiday seasons will be the peak time of my business. I probably won't be able to spend as much time celebrating holidays anymore and even less travelling. So I decided to...

Cork City continued

Nov 18, 2009
The second day during our stay in Cork City, we have visited the university... And we ran into more cats... This is probably the biggest can of Beamish I will ever see in my life... After passing by the Beamish factory, it reminds us to have our one...
