10 Corso Como is a fashion brand as well as an art gallery, and store, and a café with locations in Milano, Tokyo, and Seoul. It was founded by Carla Sozzani, a publisher, in 1990. The stores dedicate themselves to design, fashion, and art. A concept store, it has been called a “mini lifestyle emporium”. Many stores in Paris and London have cited 10 Corso Como as an inspiration.
In the beginning, there was only a bookshop and art gallery. Later, a fashion and design store was added. In 2003, a small hotel was even added, albeit only a three room hotel.
The logo for 10 Corso Como is black and white, and it features the name “10 Corso Como”. The logo was designed by Kris Ruhs. Other important elements in the brand include illustrations of exotic fish.
They invented a new kind of marketing philosophy called “the slow shopping”, which abandons accepted retail practices. It is a unique blend of fashion, design, and art, all in one place. The brand carries a wide variety of products and even cuisines.
