10//2 is a new clothing line that
Lance Armstrong, a famous cyclist, created with the help of Nike.
The name is taken from the October 2nd, 1996 when
Lance Armstrong was first diagnosed with testicular cancer that had spread throughout his body. He described this day as “The day it all changed. The day I learned to take charge of my life.” He subsequently went on to beat cancer and make an amazing recovery. He would go on to win seven consecutive Tour de France victories, a feat that had never been accomplished before.
The clothing line deals in high performance cycling gear. It features hats, shoes, and shirts similar to those worn by
Lance Armstrong when he was training and when he was in competition. For every 10//2 purchase made a $1 donation is made to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
