
Adonal Foyle started his NBA career in 1997 with the
Golden State Warriors as the 8th overall pick in NBA Draft. He played ten seasonswith the Warriors and became the longest tenured player of the team. He went on to play for the
Orlando Magic after his contract was bought out in 2007. He had an outstanding career at Colgate University where he set a NCAA single season career record for most number of blocked shots. In his NBA caree, Foyle has finished amongst the top 10 players in blocks per game three times. In 2006, the new coach of the
Golden State Warriors, Don Nelson stated that Foyle was overweight and was a 3rd teamer. Foyle didn't play much in the 2006-07 season and the Warriors wanted a buyout of his contract. On August 13, 2007, Foyle was waived by the Warriors and then picked up by the
Orlando Magic with the veteran minimum salary of $1.3 million a year.
