Alba is a Japanese watch brand and a sub-division of the Seiko Watch Corporation. The word Alba itself originates from an “ancient” word for the dawn passed down through the generations in Spain in Italy according to the Alba corporate website.

The brand itself was established in 1979 and is aimed towards a younger demographic primarily in Asia and the Middle East.
