ALF was a comedy series that aired on NBC from 1986 to 1990. ALF (Alien Life Form)whose real name was Gordon Shumay, was a friendly alien that crash landed on earth in the back yard of the suburban living Tanner family.
When ALF landed, the family tires to decide what to do with the alien and soon decide to keep him. Secretly. The show follows the Tanner family as they try to adjust to having ALF live with them, keep him a secret from the neighborhood and keeping him from eating their cat (ALF loves to eat cats).
The show was extremely popular during its run and even spawned comics, a TV movie and merchandise.
