Andrew Bynum was drafted right of St. Joseph high school in New Jersey, picked 10th overall in the 2005 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, and was the youngest player to be drafted at 17 years and 244 days. He was also the youngest player to play in an NBA game at 18 years 6 days, when he played six minutes against the Denver Nuggets to open the Lakers season on November 2, 2005.
He has played with the Lakers his entire career to this point. Bynum has yet to win any accolades as a member of LA on his own, though the Lakers did make it the 2008 NBA Finals, only to lose to the Boston Celtics in 6 games. Andrew is not married, and has no kids.
