Andy Richter Controls the Universe was a US television show, co-produced by Paramount and 20th Century Fox, that aired on Fox from March, 2002 till January, 2003. The half hour comedy was created by Victor Fresco and starred Andy Richter (from Conan O'Brien's Late Night talk show), Irene Molloy, Paget Brewster and others.
Richter played a writer living in Chicago, Illinois working at a job he didn't like, developing technical manuals. Andy has a vivid imagination and that becomes a theme throughout the 19 episodes as well as his narration of the story. The show was canceled for low ratings but continues to be shown on HDNet and the Comedy Channel.
