The Atlanta Hawks are an Eastern Conference, Southeast Division NBA basketball team based in Atlanta Georgia. Founded in 1946 as the
Buffalo Bisons, they went through numerous name changes and relocations throughout the first 20 years of their existence before finally settling in Atlanta in 1968. To date, they have won 14 division titles, 4 conference titles, and 1 NBA championship back in 1958. Their home court is the Phillips Arena and the current head coach is Mike Woodson. The team is owned by Atlanta Spirit, LLC.
