Big Love is a show on HBO about a Mormon fundamentalist polygamist family living in Utah. The show, which premiered in 2006, stars

Ginnifer Goodwin (Margene Heffman). When it first premiered, the show received a lot of criticism because of the subject matter. The show revolved around Bill Henrickson who lives in the suburbs with his three wives and their many children. They are constantly trying to live their lives with out being found out.
Over the past few seasons, the show has increased in popularity and has been nominated for many awards. The real life situation in Utah involving polygamist families has but the show in the spotlight. The show deals not only with the marriage of a man and three women but also on the impact the unique family situation has on the children.
