blade runner Rick Deckard who takes one last assignment. Deckard sets out to retire a recently-escaped replicant hiding in Los Angeles.
Blade Runner polarized critics and performed poorly in the United States. The film has since become a cult classic.
Blade Runner was selected for preservation by the National Film Registry in 1993. There are seven versions of the film. Warner Bros. released a remastered definitive Final Cut for the 25th anniversay of the film. The release was remastered by director Ridley Scott.
