BMW 1 Series - General Automotive

The BMW 1 Series is a small luxury vehicle manufactured by German automaker BMW. First introduced in 2004, it has its own unique platform but nevertheless shares design components with the 3 series. The 1 Series comes in 2 configurations, the E81/E87 which is either a 3 or 5 door hatchback, or the E82 which is a coupe or convertible.

Power is provided by a variety of engines ranging from a 1.6L I4 to a 3.0L I6 Twin Turbo. As with most BMWs, the engine is longitudinally mounted for the rear-wheel drive vehicle.
