The Charlotte Bobcats are an Eastern Conference, Southeast Division NBA basketball team based in Charlotte North Carolina. Founded in 2004 as an expansion team, it took the place of the former Charlotte Hornets. To date, they have won no division, conference, or NBA titles. Their home court is the Time Warner Cable Arena and the current head coach is Larry Brown. The Bobcats are owned by Robert Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Cornell Haynes.
Prominent Bobcats players include Emeka Okafor and Adam Morrison.
