Chuck is an action-comedy on NBC that centers around an average "nerd" working at an electronic store who accidentally gets thrown in to the world of high espionage when he views an encoded email sent by his old college roommate that contains the world's greatest spy secrets. The show debuted in 2007 and was created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak.
While Chuck has become popular among TV fans, the show's ratings for the first season are not the highest. Yet, the network decided to renew for a second season. Chuck stars Zachary Levi (Chuck Bartowski), Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah Walker), Joshua Gomez (Morgan Grimes), Adam Baldwin (John Casey) and Sarah Lancaster (Ellie Bartowski).
Each episode Chuck must complete a mission while at the same time keeping his spy responsibilities a secret from his sister and best friend. His handlers, Sarah Walker and John Casey remain undercover as Chucks friends in order to keep an eye on him and team up on missions.
