The Colorado Rockies are a Major League Baseball team that came into the league in 1993. Presently they play in Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. The team logo is black, purple, silver, and white and features a purple snow capped mountain.
Notable Colorado Rockies of past and present include Troy Tulowitzki, Todd Helton, Garrett Atkins, Larry Walker, and Andres Galarraga. They play in the National League West Division with such teams as the
Los Angeles Dodgers,
Arizona Diamondbacks,
San Diego Padres, and
San Francisco Giants. They have yet to win a World Series in their tenure in the league, although they last went to the World Series in 2007.
